THE RIDE UP
The ride up is simple. As you approach the object you wish to get up on, keep your speed constant.
Put your weight back over the rear wheel and pull the front end up. You should keep your body straight and bend your elbows to bring the handle bars to your chest.
As you set your front wheel on the ledge, push forward with your arms and body and unweight the back end. Sometimes it helps to point your feet down and lift the end of the bike.
Allow the bike to ride up under your body by bending your knees and setting the rear wheel onto the ledge. This should feel somewhat like a manual bunny hop.
If you hit your bashring, then you have waited too long to start the rear end's motion upwards.
